The Portland Valley had the pleasure of hosting the the lovely ladies of the Scottish Rite's KidTalk Clinics this week at a dinner and raffel to raise much needed money for the many busy centers around the state of Oregon. There were close to 70 people in attendance for the Dinner and Program. A wonderfully compelling presentation was made by Karen Aguillera, KidTalk Director, about the developments kids within the KidTalk service have been making. Donators were also read aloud and presented with a honorary Pin.
Kristen holt spoke about the experiences she's had with the Scottish Rite's KidTalk Clinic and the amazing transformations her son Cameron has made through out his time working with the Clinic. Cameron was in attendence too and helped with handing out the honorary Pins with an energy that is hard to describe. It was a very heart warming event, with Lloyd Henson taking home the near-antique Ford Mustang prize.
Walt Johnson, president of the Clinic Board of Directors had some inspirational words for the attendees and Erin Haag gave us a sneak preview of the upcoming Clinic functions like the Acapella Extravaganza!
