Your Scottish Rite Clinic offers intensive speech and language services to over 350 children annually.  The clinic serves children in the clinic from fall to spring and in camp settings throughout the summer.

In addition PSU’s Speech and Language program conducts screening and assessments of over 3,000 children annually.

The scope of services include work in, speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, reading/literacy disorders, stuttering, social communication disorders due to Autism, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) for non-verbal children, and speech disorders related to cleft lip and palate.

Another area of research and outreach to Oregon children at PSU is Tele-therapy.   With funding from the Scottish Rite Speech & Language Charity over the past two years PSU is part of the field of Tele-Med and has expanded both therapy and evaluations to children in Grants Pass, Hood River, Coos Bay and St. Helens with the hope bring speech language aid to those not able to access the services available in our major cities.

All this is made, in no small way, by your Scottish Rite Speech & Language Charity.  Please consider supporting our 501c3 charity with your personal donations and/or in your estate planning.  Remember your contribution stays in Oregon helping Oregon children.
