Roseburg Honors David Hopkins 32°, KCCH

Our Valley Secretary, Brother David Hopkins 32°, KCCH, was invested with the rank and title of Knight Commander of the Court of Honour at a special ceremony last night at an open meeting of the Roseburg Valley Consistory of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry at the Roseburg Masonic Building.
An extremely rare and well-attended ceremonial investiture for a man who has made Roseburg home for his family. Congratulations Commander David Hopkins, the newest member of the Knight Commander of the Court of Honour.
Br. David wRoesburg_11-19-2019as Knighted by Illustrious Brother Gary Kuney 33°, Active Sovereign Grand Inspector General of Oregon. This is a very rare investiture because the event is typically held biannually at the Portland Valley Temple. Because of Br. Hopkins profession as a Funeral Director he could not attend that event so tonight’s ceremony was just for Br. David.

David has been singled out for this honor because of his commitment to duty and honor, his devotion to the principles of Scottish Rite Freemasonry, and his exceptional display as a good citizen and father. Let’s face it: David is a really great guy!
