Salem Valley Scottish Rite will confer the 21st degree on Thursday evening, June 18th, at Claude Weldin’s farm, 4767 Viewcrest Dr. SE, Salem, Take Kubler Blvd West from I-5, or West at Commercial St, or West at Liberty road, to the top of the Hill, as far as you can go on Kuebler, past Sprauge High School, and go right, down the hill on Viewcrest approx ½ mile, (watch for signs) then left, down the dirt road past the Blue Berry Field, thru the Cherry Orchard and into the Fir Trees…. Just follow Red Dirt road to the picnic area.
To my knowledge this is the first time a Scottish Rite Degree will be conferred as an Outdoor Degree. We will have barbequed ribs at 6:15 pm followed by the degree at 7:30pm.
Please let me know if you can be will us so we can have enough ribs for dinner.
