Passing of Worshipful Brother David B. Fambro, 32°

Brethren,
The roll of the workmen has been called, and Worshipful Brother David B. Fambro, 32°, born May 4th, 1963, at Portland, Oregon, has not answered to his name. He was Initiated on February 23rd, 1995, Passed on March 30th, 1995, and Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on May 19th, 1995, in Portland Lodge No. 55, A.F.&A.M. of Oregon, he was Invested as Master or Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret of the 32° of the A.&A. Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J., U.S.A., on November 4th, 1995, in the Oregon Consistory No. 1 of the Portland Valley in the Orient of Oregon. He served as Worshipful Master of Portland Lodge No. 55 in 2000 and served as Wise Master of the Portland Valley’s Ainsworth Chapter of Knights Rose Croix No. 1, from 2002 to 2004. On January 18th, 2022, the Great Architect of the Universe smiled upon him and taking him by the hand, gently led him to that “house not made with hands, eternal in the Heavens.” There is no death. All that is beautiful and good and true in human life is no more affected by the shadow called death than by the darkness that divides today from tomorrow. In this, our Brother’s hour of victory, we should rejoice that we can see far enough into the future to know that all is well with him. He is but a step-in advance of us and we thank our Creator that we had known and loved him for a while.

The 16th Degree has been moved to February 15th, at 7pm.
Due to the size of the cast required for this degree the Valley Body Heads & Director of the Work have determined that moving the conferral of this degree back one month will provide the additional time needed to fill the five remaining cast parts and add additional rehearsals to give the performance of this entertaining degree the justice it is due.
This month on January 18th we will be screening Matrix Resurrections (2021), Rated R, Runtime 2h35m. All members and accompanied guests welcome. Doors at 6pm, feature screening at 6:30pm.
