The Regional Leadership conference was held on March 13, 14, and 15 at the Double Tree Hotel at the Lloyd Center in Portland. The Orient of Oregon hosted this event with strong support from Brothers of all the Valleys of Oregon. These Brothers managed transportation, registration and acted as facilitators during the “round table forums”.
The conference was attended by over 200 Masons, from as far away as Tokyo. Three round table forums were held on Friday and Saturday discussing new member strategies; member retention and Masonic Education.
Attendees and wives relaxed at a wine and cheese social on Friday while wives attended a special Columbia River Gorge Tour and luncheon at the Columbia Gorge Hotel.
Those who attended this event departed with great memories of Oregon and the Brothers of this Orient. (pictured is Grand Commander Ron Seale).

It is hard to conceive of any Masonic Ritual more beautiful or inspiring. We meet together to break the bread of fraternity, to reconcile ourselves with those we have offended, and to drink the wine of refreshment and renewal. This year we will be “Memorializing” our recently departed Brethren.

We hope you will join us for an excellent meal, beautiful harp music, and an “Inspiring” Ceremony to honor our recently departed Brethren.
