Medford Valley annual Scholarship Dinner

The Medford Valley of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite proudly hosted its annual Scholarship Presentation Dinner in June, celebrating the achievements of exceptional local students. While the Scholarships were presented by the Medford Valley, the competition for the scholarships were Oregon wide through the Orient of Oregon.

During the evening’s program, scholarship certificates were formally presented by Illustrious Bob Crum, 33°, to Olivia Barber and Tori Marion, both of whom attended the dinner with their families. The Brethren enjoyed hearing about their accomplishments and future academic plans, offering warm congratulations as these young scholars prepare for the next steps in their education. Also selected to receive scholarships this year were Jaden Thonstad and Morgan James. Although they were unable to attend the presentation, the Valley extends its heartfelt congratulations to them as well and looks forward to following their continued success.

The program also included special recognition for Brother Chris Leach, who was honored for his dedicated service as Commander of the Council of Kadosh, completing two years of faithful leadership. His commitment and steady guidance were warmly acknowledged by the Brethren.

An additional award had been approved for Brother Stephen Larrance, KSA, who served with distinction as Master of Kadosh for the Medford Consistory. Sadly, Brother Larrance passed away before the award could be presented. The Valley honors his memory, his leadership, and his unwavering devotion to the Rite, extending continued sympathy to his family and loved ones.
